Warmed by the late spring sun of Sonoma County during the day, you can enjoy the countryside, take in a winery or two, or take a dip in The Woods' beautiful, clothing optional swimming pool.

At night, a 20'x20' heated tent, outfitted with enough slings to enable you to fulfill your every fantasy, will be stocked with lube, gloves, condoms, pads and paper towels. This men-only weekend is designed to help you fulfill your every ffisting ffantasy. In between sessions, relax next to the Woods' firepit.

Men of all body types, age ranges and experience levels are encouraged to attend Spring FFling, whether you're a veteran fister/fistee or new to the scene, you're sure to enjoy yourself! New this year . . .

This year we've reduced the price of the weekend and day use passes. We want to encourage you to spend that extra $10 on a bag of groceries for Food for Thought, the Sonoma County HIV/AIDS Food Bank, which is also the oversight agency for the AIDS Emergency Fund, the benificiary of our sling raffle. Just drop your bag of groceries at the registration table and receive a free Hell Hole vest pin. Your donations will be gratefully received by a volunteer from the food bank.

This year's Spring FFling, April 29 - May 1, 2011, is hosted by the Woods Resort, and it promises to be a really super weekend. The Woods is known to be one of the premier resorts at the Russian River! The resort has reserved all the rooms solely for Spring FFlingers! The entire resort will be closed to the general public for the entire weekend. No women, no looky loos, just us fisters!

AMENITIES

Like last year, we'll offer unlimited bottled water to all weekend pass holders throughout the weekend, as well as late night and early morning yogurt and snacks. In addition, there'll be complimentary cosmos, wine, and snacks by the pool on Friday and Saturday evenings between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.

At night, the tent is warmed beautifully by a forced air propane heater, so there's no need to bundle up to play. In between scenes, you can warm your buns 'n hands in front of The Woods cozy fire pit.

Like last year, you'll have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for, among other things, a brand new portable sling! Beneficiary of the raffle again this year is the Sonoma County AIDS Emergency Fund. The great thing about AEF is that there are no administrative costs, meaning that every penny donated goes directly to client services!

The Woods Resort is just steps from bars, restaurants and clubs in rustic downtown Guerneville, which is just a 3 minute walk away. There, you can visit the historic Rainbow Cattle Company or the newest leather bar in town, Yamagata. But you don't really have to leave the resort as all rooms are non-smoking and feature a private bath, color, cable TV, microwave and mini-fridge. A Safeway supermarket is just two blocks away.

Please note that the Russian River Resort closed in 2010 making nearby accommodations a little more scarce than in years past.

The staff and management of the resort request that you NOT USE non-water based lubricants in the rooms. Please bring play sheets, tarping for the floors and painter's or gaffer's tape to secure it all. You will be held responsible for excessive cleaning costs.

The friendly staff at The Woods are veterans in gay tourism in the Russian River area and will be happy to point you to available rooms in the area if there is no room at the host resort. Whether you manage to stay on-site or in a nearby resort, you WILL have a great time. Weekend Passes and Day Passes will be available throughout the weekend.
